En Holcim estamos buscando un(a) Internal Control Specialist (MX) para unirse a nuestro equipo desde Medellín en modalidad remota. En este rol, serás responsable de liderar el ciclo de control interno de TI (diseño de controles, evaluación de efectividad operativa, remediación y mejora continua) centrado en nuestras operaciones adquiridas en México. Tu misión principal será ser el puente y facilitador clave con las áreas de auditoría interna y externa, así como impulsar la adopción de la Cultura Holcim y mejores prácticas de ciberseguridad en entornos tecnológicos.

 

Responsabilidades Principales

 

  • Planificación y Ejecución: Liderar el ciclo de control interno de TI, abarcando el diseño de controles, la evaluación de su efectividad operativa, el plan de remediación y la mejora continua.
  • Soporte de Auditoría: Actuar como facilitador y punto de contacto principal para atender y soportar los requerimientos de auditoría interna y externa.
  • Mitigación y Remediación: Documentar desviaciones o brechas identificadas y diseñar planes de acción formales en conjunto con los líderes funcionales de TI.
  • Gestión del Cambio: Acompañar la adopción de estándares globales de control interno y ciberseguridad en entornos legacy/locales, promoviendo la segregación de funciones.
  • Gobernanza de TI: Velar por el cumplimiento de controles en áreas clave como Gestión de Accesos (Access Management), Gestión de Cambios (Change Management) u Operaciones de TI (IT Operations).

 

Requisitos del Perfil

 

Formación Académica: Profesional graduado(a) en Tecnologías de la Información, Ingeniería de Sistemas o carreras afines.

Experiencia:De 3 a 5 años de experiencia profesional en seguridad de TI, ciberseguridad, seguridad ofensiva y/o arquitectura de seguridad.

Idiomas: Inglés con nivel mínimo B2.

Marcos y Metodologías: Conocimiento y aplicación de estándares de ciberseguridad y control como NIST o ISO 27001.

Job Description

 

At Holcim, we are looking for an IT Internal Control Specialist (MX) to join our team based in Medellín in a remote work modality. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the IT internal control cycle (control design, operating effectiveness testing, remediation, and continuous improvement) with a focus on our recently acquired operations in Mexico (Indar and Pasa). Your primary mission will be to serve as the main liaison and facilitator for internal and external audit requirements, while driving the adoption of the "Holcim Culture" and cybersecurity best practices within legacy technology environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Planning & Execution: Lead the IT internal control lifecycle, including control design, evaluation of operating effectiveness, remediation planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Audit Support: Act as the primary liaison and facilitator to support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Mitigation & Remediation: Document control deficiencies/gaps and design formal action and remediation plans in collaboration with IT functional leaders.
  • Change Management: Facilitate the adoption of global internal control standards and cybersecurity best practices across legacy/local environments, promoting segregation of duties.
  • IT Governance: Ensure control compliance across key operational areas, including Access Management, Change Management, and IT Operations.

 

Key Requirements

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in IT security, cybersecurity, offensive security, and/or security architecture.

Language: English proficiency (Minimum B2 level).

Frameworks & Standards: Strong knowledge and application of cybersecurity and IT control frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
