About the opportunity
Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for ensuring safe and efficient operations in the concrete industry? We are currently seeking a Production Officer or Batcher to operate as part of our Mobile Project team in North QLD. As a Production Officer, you will play a crucial role in the production process and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service as we supply to projects we have been awarded in the region.

- Training provided on equipment, systems and procedures.
- A close-knit team on site backed by an inclusive culture company wide.
- North QLD Location, flying in/out operating at our Kidston site.
Responsibilities
- Concrete batching & front-end loader operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management System.
- Manage the water and waste management system, adhering to environmental requirements.
- Promoting and enforcing safety and environmental processes and protocols to meet performance outcomes
- Allocating and assigning loads to drivers as well as coordination of Trucks arriving & departing site
- Stock management and coordination of deliveries
- Assisting contractors carrying out site maintenance
- Yard maintenance, Front-end loader operation, shovelling and manual handling of bagged products
- Administration on a variety of computer software applications (training is provided on these)
About you
- Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised,
- Willingness to go the extra mile, supporting a strong team culture
- Be passionate about safety, with a strong work ethic, and is results focused
- Have effective communication skills and work under pressure
- Be able to physically perform all duties associated with the position
- Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening
- Flexibility for FIFO, living away from home and working different hours as some projects require.
Hours of Work
- 2 weeks on; 1 week off (2:1) roster over the 12-month contract. One week is a nightshift. More detail can be provided on request.
