As we continue to look for more sustainable ways to build, we need world-class talent to join our team. We are seeking a Chemical Engineer Intern for Summer 2025 who is passionate about sustainability, driven by curiosity and keen to grow, learn, develop and thrive in our high-performance culture. This opportunity will be a 10-week, paid internship beginning June, 2nd 2025.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Create the design of experiments to test hypotheses.
Complete data entry for process controls.
Implement process safety actions.
Research new technology for laminator function.
Identify standardization gaps within all ISO facilities.
Conclude your internship with a presentation to executive leadership, showcasing your learnings and contributions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Strong Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics experience highly preferred.
Strong academic performance.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
Team oriented and able to work with all levels of the organization.
Willing to spend time out in the field getting to know the business firsthand.

SCHEDULE AND ENVIRONMENT:

This is an onsite role; the intern will be expected to be onsite Monday - Friday and work an 8-hour shift (40 hours per week is mandatory).
We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual who can work on their own and adhere to deadlines without supervision, working in both a manufacturing, lab, and office setting.
You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from your worksite for the summer.
Throughout the duration of your internship, you may be required to travel for site tours, shadow experiences, or intern events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift 20lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and work around rail equipment.
