As we continue to look for more sustainable ways to build, we need world-class talent to join our team. We are seeking a Chemical Engineer Intern for Summer 2025 who is passionate about sustainability, driven by curiosity and keen to grow, learn, develop and thrive in our high-performance culture. This opportunity will be a 10-week, paid internship beginning June, 2nd 2025.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Create the design of experiments to test hypotheses.
- Complete data entry for process controls.
- Implement process safety actions.
- Research new technology for laminator function.
- Identify standardization gaps within all ISO facilities.
- Conclude your internship with a presentation to executive leadership, showcasing your learnings and contributions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics experience highly preferred.
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
- Team oriented and able to work with all levels of the organization.
- Willing to spend time out in the field getting to know the business firsthand.
SCHEDULE AND ENVIRONMENT:
- This is an onsite role; the intern will be expected to be onsite Monday - Friday and work an 8-hour shift (40 hours per week is mandatory).
- We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual who can work on their own and adhere to deadlines without supervision, working in both a manufacturing, lab, and office setting.
- You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from your worksite for the summer.
- Throughout the duration of your internship, you may be required to travel for site tours, shadow experiences, or intern events.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift 20lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and work around rail equipment.
