Building products manufacturer is seeking an experienced corporate paralegal for an outstanding in-house opportunity in Nashville, TN. Holcim Building Envelope encompasses a variety of products, from commercial roofing materials and products to spray foam, coatings and sealants. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide general legal support to attorneys on a wide variety of legal projects.  The position will be a Corporate Paralegal position reporting to the General Counsel. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

 

•    Paralegal support for corporate governance, litigation and contract management.
•    Responsible for electronic file maintenance, including opening of matters and uploading documents into matter management and contract management systems.
•    Manage and process all legal invoicing for the Legal Department.
•    Manage, track and handling of subpoenas served upon the company.
•    Responsible for discovery/document review and collection for warranty and product liability matters.
•    Establish, manage and maintain strong collaborative relationships with a variety of corporate clients in different areas of the company, including human resources, sales, manufacturing, and marketing.
•    Develop a thorough understanding of and familiarity with the company’s business in order to support legal department and perform other duties as assigned.

 

•    Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certificate from ABA certified program
•    Minimum 3 years of law firm or in-house experience with litigation, transactional and corporate governance legal experience.
•    Google Suite systems skills (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive, etc.)
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Exceptional organizational, time management, planning and multi-tasking skills
•    Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with key stakeholder groups
•    Must possess strong judgment, confidence, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
•    Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
