ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Outside Sales Territory Manager at Enverge SPF, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing relationships with customers within your designated territory. You will promote and sell our high-quality spray foam insulation products to commercial, industrial, and residential clients, helping them understand the benefits of spray foam for energy efficiency, building performance, and cost savings.

You will drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This position requires a self-motivated, results-driven individual with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the spray foam insulation industry. The ideal candidate will reside in an major metro area in the Western US. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Sales Development & Prospecting:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Cold call, network, and attend industry events to build and expand a pipeline of potential customers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Up to 80% travel within the territory

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, contractors, architects, builders, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Provide product education and assistance to clients on spray foam insulation applications and benefits.

Sales Presentations & Consultations:

  • Conduct in-person presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Assess customers’ needs and recommend the best spray foam insulation solutions based on building requirements.
  • Prepare and present customized quotes and proposals, ensuring profitability and competitive pricing.

Market & Product Knowledge:

  • Stay current with industry trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of spray foam insulation, including energy savings, air sealing, moisture control, and soundproofing.

Account Management & Follow-up:

  • Manage ongoing relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Track and follow up on project timelines, order fulfillment, and product delivery.
  • Resolve any customer issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Reporting & Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in CRM software.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, territory forecasts, and competitive insights.
  • Coordinate with the operations and installation teams to ensure timely execution of customer orders.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the construction, building materials, or insulation industries.
  • Knowledge of spray foam insulation, energy efficiency, or related products is a strong plus.
  • Experience selling to commercial and residential clients, as well as working with contractors and building professionals.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with autonomous work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (up to 80% of the time). Which could cover multiple states
  • Ability to work some evenings or weekends as needed for customer meetings or industry events.
