ABOUT THE ROLE

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for a National Account Representative in the Midwest United States. This position aims to lead the company’s efforts to create, maintain, and expand relationships with large, multi-location customers within a specified territory. The ideal candidate would be located in a metropolis within one of the following states: IL, IN, NE, KS, SD, ND, MN, WI, MO & IA. This is a full-time, salaried based position reporting to the Director of National Accounts with additional bonus potential based on commission.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Establish relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
• Maximize business opportunities within assigned customer accounts.
• Learn, promote, and sell the Duro-Last roofing system to prospective customers based in assigned territory.
• Make monthly service contact with all active customer accounts.
• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
• Meet assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
• Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs.
• Manage the design specifications for each customer account.
• Working closely with Duro-Last Contractors, General Contractors, and Architects on customer account projects and construction needs.
• Coordinate bid process amongst multiple Duro-Last Contractors, General Contractors, and Customer Accounts.
• Develop new business opportunities in assigned territory.


Accountabilities and Performance Measures:
• Achieve sales targets in designated corporate accounts.
• Achieve strategic customer and business development objectives defined by company management.
• Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
• Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of successful business to business sales experience.
• Commercial roofing knowledge or Duro-Last background preferred.
• Must be organized and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to travel frequently in the assigned territory – typically ranges from 25-50%.
• Must have outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Territory management and presentation skills.
