Main responsibilities

Are you passionate about accounting activities such as General Ledger and Fixed Assets accounting? Would you like to advance to a new role and accept the challenge of leading a team?

The role of General Ledger and Fixed Assets Team Lead is a part of the R2R Tower.

People management:

● In this role, you will support the Tower Head with team and workload management, coach and

supervise team members and serve as a resource for complex problems

● Your responsibility will be to coordinate team based training, personnel forecasting, peer

appraisal, scheduling, interviewing, identification of non-monetary awards and gathering of team

performance statistics

Performance & Service Management

● You will take care of the management of all GL and FA processes consistent with HARP, monitor

and manage day-to-day processes and improve the existing relationship with the business

partners

● Your task will be to ensure established processes, policies, and procedures are followed by all

SSC personnel as well as identify and communicate to SSC leadership when KPIs and SLAs are

not followed by the business lines

● As well as you will work with other teams leaders to plan and allocate team resources and to

resolve technical problems

Technical Standards / Compliance

● You can look forward to the management of the external and the internal auditing requirements,

ensuring timely and complete service is provided to them

● Last but not the least, your responsibility will be to monitor and execute internal control

procedures to comply with internal/external audit requirements.

 

Whom we are looking for

You are a fit for the role if you have:

● University education in the area of Business, Finance, Accounting or other related fields

● English - upper intermediate (B2)

● Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting with an advanced knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping

● Knowledge of the accounting standards (IFRS)

● Expert Skills in MS Office, expert user of MS Excel

● Advanced SAP knowledge

● Strong team player mindset with the ability to meet strict deadlines

● Effective written and oral communication skills

● You are highly organized and keen on detail

● Ability to plan, assign and direct work

● Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
