Holcim European Business Services (EBS) is the internal Shared Service Center of Holcim for the European region, based in Kosice, Slovakia. With a team of over 330 employees representing more than 20 nationalities, EBS provides a comprehensive range of financial & administrative services to the 23 countries of Holcim across Europe. These services encompass Reporting, Controlling, Accounting & Consolidation, Invoicing, Treasury, Procurement, HR administration, Recruitment, Payroll, Data Analytics, Sustainability and several others.

Role overview

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining reporting systems, tools, and databases that track the financial and operational performance of EBS. Your key responsibilities include delivering accurate and timely reports, collaborating with Process Managers and Tower Heads to enhance performance measurement, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and create additional value for internal customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking overall ownership for delivering accurate and timely KPI and SLA reports for your assigned area.

  • Leading the development and implementation of sustainable tools and databases to improve the efficiency and reliability of reporting processes.

  • Collaborating closely with Head of Departments and Account Managers to ensure effective communication with customers, understanding their needs, and taking action accordingly.

  • Acting as the main contact point for Group functions, providing data for external benchmarking, analyzing results, and proposing improvements based on findings.

  • Presenting and discussing results with management, proactively recommending process enhancements to address identified issues and trends.

  • Conducting internal benchmarking and sharing best practices across comparable entities within the Group.

Your qualifications, experience and skills

  • University education in Finance/Engineering/Business 

  • Minimum 4 year of experience working with data analytics, BI tools

  • Excellent skills in data analytics

  • Advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data cleansing techniques.

  • English - Upper - intermediate (B2)

  • Great customer service skills

  • Communication skills with ability to present results in PowerPoint/Google Presentation
