SUMMARY OF THE JOB

Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the position of Sr. Business Solutions Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in understanding business workflows and possess the capability to define and build systems for productivity applications and enterprise content management solutions. The primary focus will be on analysing business requirements, collaborating with development teams, or independently constructing solutions using various no-code platforms such as

AppSheet, AODocs or other low-code solutions.
This position needs to interact on a regular basis with key users and business solution owners and then translate the expectations or needs in IT usable ways and coordinate with the IT expert the different actions and steps to support the deployment and continued enhancement and adoption.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business Analysis:

    • Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document workflow processes.

  • Solution Development:

    • Utilise no-code platforms to develop solutions that address business needs.

    • Work independently or with development teams to create efficient and effective applications.

    • Preparation of requirements analysis, functional specifications, use cases, risk analysis, cost analysis, project plan, user acceptance tests performance & coordination - from small to complex solutions. Content management is a key component included in this scope.

  • Project Management:

    • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

  • Customer-Centric Approach:

    • Prioritise customer satisfaction by understanding and meeting their needs.

    • Ensure that developed solutions align with business objectives.

    • As a Trusted Advisor and Business Consultant, guide and advise business solutions owners on the current solutions roadmap and evolution, drive the improvement of the solutions to provide value-added services and advanced capabilities to business.

  • Multilingual Communication:

    • Fluently communicate in English, and ideally in other languages such as Spanish, French, or German to facilitate global interactions.

  • Technology Proficiency:

    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT systems and technologies.

    • Have hands-on experience in building applications using various technologies.

    • Has good understanding and experience working  of Google Sheets,App Scripts /Microsoft Excel- Macros

    • Excellent understanding of communications and collaboration functional aspects. (Google solutions, Document management solution, Workflow solutions) 

    • Strong analytical and design skills including troubleshooting of business process pain points and integration of IT technologies.

    • Strong communication skills and business process understanding for areas in scope.

    • Strong problem solving.

    • Experience in managing IT Projects.

    • Experience in Corporate solution & services operation and delivery within an international group.

    • Ability to define, build, deploy and maintain training and support programs

  • Innovative Thinking:

    • Be a self-starter with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.

    • Contribute to the development of innovative products and solutions.

  • Support the IT project with efficient tasks prioritisation via analysing business needs, build, test and roll out. 

  • Control and monitor Incidents, Problems and Change Requests related to assigned applications and component services

  • Establish and run a business-focussed Community of Practice

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Proven experience in analysing business workflows and developing solutions.

  • Proficiency in using no-code platforms such as AppSheet, AODocs, Bubble.io, Mendix, PowerApps or similar.

PROFILE REQUIRED 

Level of education/qualifications normally required: 

  • Degree in Business Economics or Computer Science or equivalent discipline with an IT focus work experience and technical training.

  • Master degree is a plus

 

Specific work experience: 

  • Overall experience & relevant experience 8+ years.

  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations

  • Solid experience in the delivery, development and maintenance of IT Communication and collaboration Applications

  • Strong IT background to support solution integration within the IT  landscape

  • Experience working and managing offshore teams or SaaS partners

  • Proficient understanding of Business Applications in designated functional area and beyond

  • Knowledge of Construction & Building Materials industry is a plus


Technical / functional skills:
