Global People Project Manager
Join Holcim's Global Talent Team as the Global People Project Manager of CareerHub (powered by Gloat), our internal talent marketplace - and play a key role in shaping how employees experience career development at a global organisation.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who thrives at the intersection of HR, digital platforms, and people-centred delivery - a natural connector who can own a product, manage stakeholders, and drive adoption across regions.
Our Vision
At Holcim, we believe every employee deserves equal visibility into opportunities - and our internal marketplace enables this: it is the right platform to be seen, matched, and mobilised. CareerHub is our commitment to democratising opportunity: breaking down silos, making careers more visible, and giving every employee - regardless of function, level, or geography - equal access to projects, roles, and growth experiences
As the Platform Owner, you will be at the centre of this vision — not just maintaining a tool, but championing the cultural shift.
Summary
The Global People Project Manager for CareerHub is responsible for owning and delivering a consistent, engaging, and data-driven experience through Holcim's internal talent marketplace (powered by Gloat). This role integrates platform ownership, HR innovation, and change enablement — collaborating across functions, regions, and countries to create scalable, high-impact programmes that enhance internal mobility, employee engagement, and career development. The position plays a key role in translating employee feedback and platform insights into actionable improvements that drive Holcim's people strategy and strengthen business outcomes.
Your Mission
Own and continuously evolve CareerHub as Holcim's global talent marketplace — driving the human side of this transformation by influencing behaviours, building capability, and fostering a culture of growth mindset across the employee lifecycle. You will act as the primary change enabler for CareerHub, partnering with HR leaders, regional teams, and business stakeholders to ensure adoption is not just achieved, but sustained. You will also serve as the key integration point between internal technical teams, HR, and the vendor (Gloat) — ensuring the platform evolves in line with business needs, technical requirements, and the broader people strategy.
What You'll Do
Platform Ownership – CareerHub
-
Own the day-to-day management of CareerHub; act as the expert for users, HR partners, and stakeholders across regions
-
Define priorities, manage a clear backlog, and translate user feedback and business needs into vendor roadmap discussions
-
Coordinate feature testing, releases, and continuous platform improvements from an end-user perspective
-
Drive adoption through onboarding sessions, demos, webinars, and targeted 1:1 support for employees, managers, and HR teams
-
Manage the vendor relationship (Gloat) day-to-day — escalate issues, track SLAs, and influence product direction
-
Monitor usage and adoption metrics; use data insights to continuously improve the user experience
Change Management & Communications
CareerHub is live — but adoption and change is where the real work begins. Your role is to drive the human side of this transformation: influencing behaviours, shifting mindsets, and embedding CareerHub into how Holcim thinks and talks about careers every day.
-
Design and lead structured change management plans that support rollouts and drive sustained behavioural change across the organisation
-
Develop targeted communications strategies that build awareness and keep CareerHub visible and relevant
-
Identify adoption barriers early and design proactive, people-centred interventions to address them
-
Build a global community of local ambassadors and HR champions who carry the message into their regions
-
Act as a trusted advisor to HR partners and business leaders on driving adoption and fostering a culture of growth mindset
What You Bring
-
3–5 years of experience in platform ownership, HR technology, digital tools, SaaS adoption, or project coordination — ideally within a global organisation
-
Comfortable owning a digital platform — you don't need to be a developer, but you understand how SaaS tools work and how to get the best out of them
-
Strong stakeholder management skills — confident engaging with HR leaders, IT teams, vendors, senior business partners and end users.
-
A user-first mindset — able to see things from an employee, manager, or leader perspective and translate that into clear requirements or actions
-
Experience with change management, communications planning, or platform adoption programmes is a strong plus
-
Data-aware — able to read platform metrics and project KPIs to make informed decisions
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ required); additional languages are a plus
-
Highly organised, proactive, and resilient — a self-starter who takes ownership, follows through, and thrives in ambiguity
-
University degree in Business, HR, Psychology, Management, or a related field
-
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus but not required
