THE POSITION

 

The candidate will support our customers to meet their sustainability targets and overcome their waste challenges.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Prepare, review and update the technical and administrative documentation necessary to obtain export authorizations for alternative fuels & raw materials to Holcim Group Plants abroad
  • Ensure the correct registration of flows of alternative fuels & raw materials through dedicated applications/platforms
  • Coordinate logistics operations and identify, depending on the specific circumstances, the best solutions for the material handling/transport while respecting cost, efficiency, quality, and time parameters

 

PROFILE

 

  • University Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Environmental Science, Sustainable development, Engineering, Law, etc)
  • 1 - 2 years of professional experience in similar positions or technical roles in the Environment Function

 

FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

 

  • Previous experience in the export/logistics/waste sector, even if brief, is appreciated
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of main IT tools; familiarity with specific management systems (e.g. SAP) is appreciated
  • Fluency in Italian and English a must, French or German is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS aligned with the gained experience in the role/function.

Mobility within the Central Europe West cluster (Switzerland, Italy, Southern Germany and Haut-Rhin) maximum 30% of working time and depending on the respective work situation/project assignment.
