About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Capture Planning & Scheduling Responsible to manage the end-to-end timeline, resources, and sequencing of Carbon Capture projects. This role covers all project phases from feasibility through engineering (FEED), construction, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will create detailed schedules, identify critical paths, monitor budget variances, and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery of the Carbon Capture project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Development: Create and maintain detailed, integrated project schedules (Level 1-4) specifically for the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of Carbon Capture plants.
- Progress Tracking: Regularly update schedules, measure progress against baselines, and report variances to project management.
- Critical Path Analysis: Identify, analyze, and manage the critical path to ensure milestones are met.
- Resource Planning: Coordinate allocation of engineers, contractors, and equipment to avoid bottlenecks within the Carbon Capture scope.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential schedule delays and develop mitigation strategies.
- Document Control: Ensure all schedule-related documentation is complete, accurate, version-controlled, and aligned with company standards. Maintain traceable records for audit purposes and provide reliable reporting to stakeholders.
- Reporting & Change Management: Prepare project status reports, facilitate planning sessions, and assess the impact of scope changes on schedule and budget.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project scheduling software.
- Proven experience in planning, monitoring, and reviewing schedules, including critical path analysis and schedule performance measurement.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Advanced proficiency in Project Controls tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to manage document control and coordinate multidisciplinary teams within the Carbon Capture area.
Preferred:
- Experience in large, complex Carbon Capture or EPC projects.
- Skilled in identifying scheduling issues and recommending corrective actions.
- Flexibility to respond to urgent project requests and changing priorities.
