CCS Waste Water Treatment Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Waste Water Treatment Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of the industrial Waste Water Treatment (WWT) systems for our Carbon Capture project. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, technical evaluation of solutions, integration with other plant systems, and contribution to engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design, engineering, and optimization of WWT systems within the Carbon Capture project.
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure seamless integration of WWT solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, datasheets, and reports related to WWT systems.
• Review and validate design deliverables from internal teams and external consultants.
• Conduct technical analyses to optimize performance, reduce environmental impact, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support commissioning activities and troubleshooting during plant start-up.
• Ensure that all WWT-related documentation is complete, accurate, and properly controlled.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Process Engineering.
• Experience in industrial wastewater treatment design or operation, ideally in heavy industry, cement, or energy sectors.
• Strong technical skills in process design, equipment selection, and system integration.
• Ability to review and prepare technical documentation and control engineering data.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, safety standards, and sustainable practices.
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., process simulation tools, Excel, MS Office).

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in industrial projects involving wastewater treatment, water recycling, or effluent management.
• Experience collaborating with external engineering consultants and contractors.
• Practical knowledge of project delivery processes, from feasibility studies to commissioning.
