Alternative Fuels Sales Manager

Holcim Romania is looking for an Alternative Fuels (AF) Sales Manager to join the AFR commercial team and contribute to the development of the supplier and customer portfolio, the increase of alternative fuels volumes, and the support of the company’s sustainability objectives.

 

Assigned counties: TM, AR, CS, HD, AB, SB, MS, HR
Contract type: fixed-term, 1 year

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy for the assigned area, in line with the company’s commercial and operational objectives.

  • Identify collaboration opportunities with suppliers and customers within the area of responsibility.

  • Prepare and submit commercial offers, negotiate contractual terms, and monitor the execution of service contracts.

  • Ensure the required volumes of alternative fuels, biomass, and by-products according to the approved budget, while complying with quality and acceptance criteria.

  • Verify the quality of materials at the source and contribute to reducing quality incidents, foreign bodies, and non-conformity reports.

  • Monitor the customer and supplier portfolio, including visit reports, volume estimates, and market analyses.

  • Follow up on the collection of issued invoices and propose measures in case of payment delays or commercial risks.

  • Promote the company’s services in the assigned region, including by participating in relevant events, seminars, or specialized meetings.

  • Provide technical and commercial consultancy to partners, in collaboration with the internal production, logistics, and AF teams.

  • Manage complaints or dissatisfaction from internal and external customers quickly and efficiently.

 

Candidate profile:

  • Completed higher education.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, customer relations, environment, production, cement process, or related technical fields.

  • Knowledge of waste management or alternative fuels is a strong advantage.

  • Experience in commercial negotiation and managing relationships with suppliers or customers.

  • Analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and structured decision-making.

  • Availability for frequent travel within the assigned area.

  • Intermediate level of English.

  • Category B driving license.
