ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Manager answers directly to the Senior Project Manager. They have full responsibility of the administrative side of the projects to include managing of all budgetary and financial aspects related to the project, managing client and project team relationships, mentoring of team members and are ultimately responsible for deliverables to the client. They are responsible for the overall planning, direction, completion, and financial outcome of assigned projects. Manages, leads, assists and monitors the work of Field Engineers, Project Coordinators, and Assistant Project Managers. Coordinates closely with the Project Superintendent or Project Foremen. Develops, approves, and monitors the project plan and schedule and makes appropriate modifications when necessary. Will maintain professional relationships and involvement in their field through professional associations, committee work, and industry involvement. The Project Manager must be a strong leader, communicator and advocate for team collaboration and innovation, and must have the ability to lead, manage, cultivate and mentor team members to promote their professional growth.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Demonstrating a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
- Developing project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.
- Determining project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing subsequent bids from contractors.
- Maintaining project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
- Controlling project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
- Preparing project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
- Managing coordinating activities of multiple on-site contractors to ensure project completion.
- Maintaining product and company reputation by complying with Federal and State regulations as well as corporate policies.
- Mentor project teams on Environmental compliance, promote environmental compliance on all Holcim
- Project sites to include construction dewatering activities and any sampleing or reporting requirements.To include conducting inspections and samples on assigned projects as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Project Management or related field is required or 7 years relevant work experience within the industry

- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment (“PPE”), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
