Manager International Income Tax

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager International Income Tax will play a critical role in managing all aspects of international income taxation, including compliance, tax provisions, and transfer pricing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international taxation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across different functions and regions.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

- Preparation of global transfer pricing documentation and reports for various jurisdictions
- Assist with U.S. International tax reporting, ensuring accurate and timely filing with the federal tax return
- Preparation and review of foreign income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740
- Tracking of USGAAP to state timing differences
- Assist with foreign income tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns in various jurisdictions
- Calculation of Subpart F, FTC, GILTI, FDII to support the US tax compliance team
- Assist with foreign withholding taxes
- Assist with Pillar II implementation and compliance
- Assist with audit readiness and special tax-related projects
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, evaluating the impacts of the company’s operations and financial position
- Provide guidance on the tax implications of international business activities, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and expansions

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree
Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree.
Field of Study Preferred: Tax Accounting/Tax Law
Required Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in international tax, preferably in a public company or Big 4 environment
Licenses Preferred: CPA, Master of Tax preferred
Required Computer and Software Skills: Experience with OneSource Income Tax, and advanced Excel skills required. Alteryx and SAP experience a plus.
Travel Requirements: Some travel may be required, including international travel.
Additional Requirements:
- Previous experience with multinational manufacturing companies
- Experience US International Tax reporting required
- Experience in global transfer pricing preferred
- Experience using tax research tools
- Demonstrated SME status in a complex area
- Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with internal and external clients
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
