ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Manager of Executive & Enterprise Communications, with strong experience in developing and executing enterprise-wide communications strategies and campaigns to engage employees, manage change and align large organizations to company priorities.
This role will lead the creation of critical internal communications channels and will design and develop internal campaigns to engage employees and build a strong company culture. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in C-suite level communications, and should have experience developing messaging and writing for executives to capture their voice while delivering consistent and compelling messaging that support business objectives. The candidate should also have extensive experience leading large-scale employee communications events including town halls, webcasts and special events.
This role reports to the Chief Communications Officer and will play a central role in developing the corporation’s overall communications strategy, narrative, and direction.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
You are responsible to lead content creation projects to completion including:
- Establish and execute communications plan for the top executive team that connects to the company strategy and engages key stakeholder audiences including employees and external audiences.
- Build an enterprise-wide communications strategy across channels to include company intranet, news, emails, digital signage, town halls, leader engagement and more.
- Lead CEO employee communications, including town hall meetings, webcasts, videos, written content and other channels used for engaging with employees.
- Draft concise, yet detailed, briefing materials used to prepare the CEO for engagements, including writing speeches, thought leadership content and talking points for external events and public engagements.
- Collaborate to support the social media strategy for the CEO and executive team, with focus on leveraging platforms to drive engagement across priority audiences and topics.
- Partners with internal, external, social media and marketing teams to develop storylines and support executive readiness to engage in media relations, when appropriate.
- Collaborate effectively across the organization, building and maintaining dedicated relationships with leadership, managers and frontline employees to direct the execution of executive communication messaging and initiatives.
- Tracks key metrics to measure reach and impact of communications to identify areas of success, opportunity and to inform senior leadership decision-making.
- Ensures alignment and consistency with organizational strategy and execution.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Field of Study Preferred: PR, Communications or Journalism
Required Work Experience: 12+ years of communications leadership experience
Required Technical Skills: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office, Google Suite preferred
Travel Requirements: 20-30%
Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience writing communications, speeches and other content for executive C-suite.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to coach and influence stakeholders across a complex corporate environment
- An individual who can effectively solve problems by understanding organizational priorities, current events and business trends.
- Experience of handling an executive’s social media presence.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated and creative solution-oriented thinker.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently, and to adjust to projects’ changing requirements and tight deadlines.
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
