ABOUT THE ROLE
Under direct supervision, provides a variety of administrative and clerical support services to an
organizational unit. Projects a professional company image through in person and phone interaction.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
- Ensures that all work is conducted in compliance with all administrative policies and procedures.
- Provides excellent customer service to employees, external customers, vendors and visitors. Exceeds both internal and external customers’ expectations of service.
- Ensures quality control of work by developing clear, error-free documents to achieve a credible and professional presence in all written and electronic communication.
- Prioritizes work to ensure that Manager is provided all relevant business information with accuracy and timeliness to be able to positively impact the business.
- Ensure that safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed within the department.
- Assembles relevant data and compiles information as directed to meet deadlines.
- Performs general office duties such as ordering supplies, processing purchase orders, updating department phone lists, etc.
- May assist with overflow work from other administrative/executive assistants and files in for the office receptionist as needed.
- Arranges travel following general instructions; checks with supervisor in making significant changes.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent or 2-4 years of equivalent experience
Required Computer and Software Skills: Intermediate computer skills in SAP, word processing and
spreadsheets. Multi-line telephone system, PC, Printer, Fax Machine, Copier, Postage Machine and LCD Projector

- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
