SUMMARY OF THE JOB 

The purpose of this role is the responsible implementation of the Holcim Security & Resilience program in the Tier 2/3 countries, with a strong focus on preventative security, measuring performance, collecting open source information, and reporting. Additionally, this role will be responsible for; 

 

  • Maintaining close contact with all internal relevant stakeholders to coordinate the security networks in the countries, and build relationships with key external actors to ensure that reliable security information is gathered; 
  • Undertaking regular and ad hoc security assessment missions as necessary, in order to analyse the overall security situation in existing and potential areas of operation. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as Group Security central support function liaison manager with the country security managers/coordinators (CSM/CSC), the country CEOs, and the Head of Region;
  • Assist the CSMs/CSCs in the management of the security & resilience program implementation in the countries;
  • Brief the Head of Region on potential and actual security threats and risks;
  • Support country management teams to ensure the security and resilience management system and plans are updated;
  • Support Country CEOs and other senior staff members to prepare, respond and manage security incidents;
  • Ensure that the supporting departments (HR, Administration, and Logistics) have in place an appropriate system to facilitate smooth security and resilience management;
  • Develop key liaisons with external agencies in the Region such as law enforcement agencies, local security forces, customs, and intelligence services;

 

PROFILE REQUIRED

Education / Qualification

  • Bachelor degree, Masters degree preferable (e.g. Geopolitics, Risk Management, Economics)
  • CPP or equivalent preferable
     

Experience

  •  At least 10 years of international experience in multinational security management
  • Proven experience in the primary and secondary sector is a must 
     

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to provide advice, influence, support and lead field staff in a consultative manner 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player with solid collaboration skills (Skills to bring people together and capable to find consensus)
  • Able and willing to learn new skills, tools and techniques 

 

Language Requirements

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish is essential
  • French would be beneficial
  • German or any other language a plus

 

Mobility requirements

  • Up to maximum of 60% a year between national and international
