Accounting Systems Administrator, New Grad

Overview:
The Accounting Systems Administrator is a subject matter expert on the B2W system program and its application and integration for Lafarge in North America.
Responsibilities:
• Understanding of job cost accounting, estimating and payroll requirements of SAP and B2W
• Subject Matter expert on B2W accounting integration with SAP
• Delivering technical training and other knowledge resources
• Report on common sources of technical issues, product understanding or questions and make recommendations for improvement
• Guide businesses through improvement of current processes within the application of B2W software
• Guiding seasoned end users (Estimators, Job Cost Accountants, Payroll, etc) on the functionality of B2W
• Develop best practice reference materials to assist other team members and customers in the use of B2W products and recommended business practices
• Assist the businesses through proper configuration and workflow of B2W Software
• Maintain continued education of B2W products as they evolve, through either company sponsored or self-initiated courses
• Participate in business technology projects
• Participate in B2W implementation projects as needed
• System administrator for the B2W applications
Qualifications:
Education:
• Postsecondary degree or diploma in computer technology or a related discipline and/or post secondary education in Accounting an asset, and relevant experience required
• A combination of job cost accounting/Estimating and B2W experience an asset
Experience & Skill Set:
• Hands on SAP Job Cost Accounting experience, combined with B2W exposure
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work under pressure and escalate as required
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and with employees at all levels/disciplines of the organization
• Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Ability to learn independently and stay current with new technologies
• Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
