Overview

Hiring Finish Grader Operators for construction/maintenance of roads, bridges, and parking lots in and around the Calgary area.


Responsibilities

  • Finish grading
  • Daily inspections and maintenance
  • When no finish grading is available, will be asked to operate other equipment and/ or labour


Daily Work Details

  • Work locations are in and around Calgary and will vary during the construction season
  • Start dates vary depending on conditions, generally mid April/ May.  In previous seasons work usually wraps up by mid November.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience of both rough and fine grading
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Good judgment skills in high pressure situations
  • Experience with Topcon and Trimble positioning systems
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Team mentality
  • 3A license is not a must, but is required to run certain equipment
