Account Manager (West Delta)

Job Purpose

 

  • The Account Manager is responsible for managing key customer accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective relationship management and coordination with internal functions. The role ensures smooth execution of sales activities, delivery commitments, and service quality while maintaining strict adherence to company policies and Health & Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

 

 1-Health & Safety:

Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained

 

2-Functional:

 

Sales & Revenue Growth: 

  • Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Promote and sell the company’s products and services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and expand the company’s presence within assigned territories or accounts.
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial offers, contracts, and pricing in line with company guidelines. 

Customer Relationship Management: 

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Act as the main interface between the customer and the company.
  • Proactively address customer concerns, service issues, or complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty through continuous engagement and follow-up

Operational Coordination:

  • Coordinate with sales operations, dispatch, logistics, and plant teams to ensure timely product availability and delivery.
  • Monitor order fulfillment and ensure delivery schedules meet customer expectations.
  • Align internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales orders and service commitments.

 

Market Intelligence 

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the assigned market.
  • Provide feedback and insights to management to support strategic decision-making and product positioning.
  • Identify opportunities for new products or services based on market demands. 

Reporting & Performance Tracking: 

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, customer visits, and revenue performance.
  • Track progress against sales targets and propose corrective actions when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account performance. 

Safety & Compliance: 

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.

 

Education

 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

     Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or) Engineering.

Technical Skills:

  • 1 - 2 Years of Experience sales or account management, preferably in construction materials, cement, or ready-mix industries 

    Experience:

  • Strong communication, Negotiation & Relationship Management Skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
