Job Purpose

To operate the plant within the pre-defined targets and ranges by continuously monitoring all the plant processes using all available tools to ensure employees safety, stable equipment operation, equipment integrity, product quality within prescribed equipment design limitations and a combination of production, Maintenance, process and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

 

  1. Health & Safety:


  • Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.

  • Communicating, improving, and enforcing safety standards in all work environments and areas, acting as a role model and Manage PPEs stock.

  • Inspect Mobile equipment safety standards and the Firefighting system readiness


  1. Functional:


  • Operate and monitor platform systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.

  • Monitor process parameters and accurately record downtime events.

  • Optimize feed rates to achieve maximum operational performance while maintaining required quality standards.

  • Monitor fire detection and prevention systems to ensure operational safety and continuity.

  • Develop and implement Risk Assessments and Safe Work Instructions (SWIs) for existing and newly introduced activities.

  • Oversee stockpile aeration and temperature monitoring programs to ensure safe material storage conditions.

  • Prepare and manage Alternative Fuel (AF) blends, including Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF), Biomass, and Tire-Derived Fuel (TDF), for Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials (AFR) co-processing operations.

  • Receive, inspect, and unload Alternative Fuel (AF) materials while ensuring compliance with quality control standards and specifications.

  • Organize and manage stockpiles within storage areas in accordance with Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials (AFR) operational and safety standards.

  • Coordinate the receipt, handling, and preparation of industrial waste for Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials (AFR) co-processing activities.

  • Monitor and maintain the operational reliability and performance of the biomass screening system.

  • Ensure high housekeeping standards across the platform.

  • Collect, analyze, and maintain the platform operational data, preparing accurate daily performance and activity records. 

  • Ensure strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Monitor and record workforce attendance to support efficient shift and resource management.

  • Verify the proper installation and maintenance of barriers isolation measures within operational areas.

  • Control and direct where incoming materials are routed and deposited within the designated stockpiles to ensure proper organization, quality, and operational efficiency. 

  •  Continuously monitor operational systems to maximize efficiency and productivity.

  • Supervise and monitor shredding line operations to ensure reliable performance and production targets are achieved.

Education, Qualifications & Experience


Education:  

Bachelor’s Degree


Technical Skills 

Production operations, Basics of computer skills (Microsoft office), Good command of English Language


Experience: 

5 - 7 Years of similar role with good knowledge of digital panels and control units of RDF preprocessing
