Geocycle Site Supervisor

Job Purpose

To operate the plant within the pre-defined targets and ranges by continuously monitoring all the plant
processes using all available tools to ensure employees safety, stable equipment operation, equipment integrity,
product quality within prescribed equipment design limitations and a combination of production, Maintenance,
process and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

:Key Accountabilities

1-Health & Safety:

  • Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.
  • Communicating, improving, and enforcing safety standards in all work environments and areas, acting as a role model and Manage PPEs stock.
  • Inspect Mobile equipment safety standards and the Firefighting system readiness

2-Functional:

    • Launch, operate, and monitor the platform system to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
    • Monitor process parameters, record downtime, and report operational deviations.
    • Adjust feed rates to achieve optimal performance while maintaining the required quality standards.
    • Monitor fire detection and fire protection systems to ensure safe and smooth operations.
    • Develop Risk Assessments and Safe Work Instructions (SWIs) for existing and newly introduced activities.
    • Monitor stockpile aeration and temperature measurements to ensure material stability and safety.
    • Prepare Alternative Fuel (AF) material mixtures (e.g., Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) and Biomass) and transfer them to the Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials (AFR) pre-processing system.
    • Receive, inspect, and unload Alternative Fuel (AF) materials, ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
    • Organize and manage stockpiles within the storage area in accordance with Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials (AFR) standards.
    • Receive, inspect, and prepare industrial waste for processing
    • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained across the Suez Platform at all times.
    • Collect, analyze, and record operational data while maintaining accurate daily log records.
    • Ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational guidelines.
    • Monitor and maintain labor attendance records.
    • Ensure proper isolation and barricading of operational areas in accordance with HSE requirements.
    • Manage material flow and stacking operations to ensure efficient storage and handling.
    • Continuously monitor platform operations to maximize operational efficiency and productivity.
    • Monitor and oversee the operation of the shredding line to ensure reliable and efficient performance.

Education, Qualifications & Experience


Education:  

Bachelor’s Degree


Technical Skills 

Production operations, Basics of computer skills (Microsoft office), Good command of English Language


Experience: 

5 - 7 Years of similar role with good knowledge of digital panels and control units of RDF preprocessing
