Plant Admin Manager

Job Purpose

 

 

Create and maintain a positive work environment and prevent social conflicts developing network and adequate communication with employees measuring social climate regularly through managing all Plant administration activities including facilities, people transportation, accommodation, etc. 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  1. Health & Safety:
  • Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation, as well as the Company's HSE Policies, Rules, and Standards.
  • Ensure the highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained at all times.
  • Follow all HSE Procedures, both Management and Operational.
  • Commit to gain all HSE competencies and capabilities relevant to the job role, as outlined in the country HSE training matrix (mandatory for the position or required based on the individual's activities).

 

2-Functional:

People Transportation:

 

Managing a team for LCE people transportation service.

  • 511 Lafarge employees (Daily – Shift – Mission – weekend - Official holidays- Shut-done)
  • 92 bus drivers.
  • 1 Post driver.
  • 8 Emergency drivers.

 

licenses

  • Managing the licenses for the company’s car fleet (44 cars) through the team and contracting with one of the companies in coordination with the car-owning departments   

 

Fuel service

  • Managing Fuel service for all Lafarge fleet (Total)

Emergency cars

Emergency management 24 hours a day, 7 days a week any cases related to the clinic - our employees and their families - emergency conditions at work - bringing or leaving any employee – residence - Accident -.etc.

One from admin team work as on call in the plant daily

Catering:

 

Managing a team for catering service by (meals - guests - visiting) 3 meals / day

  • Lafarge employees (511 Lafarge employees)    
  • Contractors who have meals in his contract

  • Requests for every department 
  • Geocycle
  • All events & training & visitors
  • Monitoring the requirements for health and food safety, restaurant staff, meals and operating methods

 

Accommodation:

 

Managing a team for accommodation service by

        (Lafarge employees – Contractors - - Shut-done – Missions – Visitors – On–call)

  • 3 Building for Lafarge (150 rooms)
  • 1 Building for Contractors (134 rooms)
  • New camp for contractors 100 rooms
  • Old camp for contractors 130 rooms (2000 contractor workers)
  • Total 514 Room

Accountable for the (Accommodation Plan - Housekeeping – Maintenance – Tools - furniture)

Management housekeeping of the administration area

  • All buildings (Accommodation-Administrative buildings) to create a clean and safe working environment
  • Accommodation 4 Buildings (400 rooms) & New camp & Old camp 
  • Administration building 25 Building (200 office – 15 Buffet – 49 W.C)
  • Admin area streets (from main gate to quarry gate & from CCR to admin & outside the planet)

 

Guarding:

 

Managing green areas and their areas and agricultural belts in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Environment and our vision to create a natural, safe and healthy work environment

Waste management:

 

 

Management waste in factory

  • Disposal of medical waste in a healthy and safe way
  • Commitment to the instructions of the Ministry of Environment to obtain permits to dispose of waste, through our commitment to follow the proper methods of burying waste through the sanitary landfill in Suez.
  • Coordination with Geocycle in the waste sorting project at the factory

 

Buffet material and operations:

 

Coordination of requests for buffets and residential buildings (drinks, detergents and napkins)

Coordination of all tools for buffets and residential buildings (heater, cooler, refrigerator, etc.)

 

Admin Controlling & government dealings:

 

Managing administrative activities PR & PO (create & receiver & follow up to receive money)

Manage governmental affairs in Suez:

  • Egypt Telecom company (Quarterly plant invoice.)
  • Suez Post office.
  • Holding company for water & wasting water in Suez (Rent sewage cars for all plant areas).
  • Follow up the procedures for disposal of (medical) waste through the health landfill in Suez and bring all the governmental corps

 

Medical Services:

 

Manage all assisting the factory’s medical services

  • Providing an ambulance driver, emergencies cars and following up   ambulance licenses
  • Follow-up the Contract and PR & PO for salaries of doctors and nurses
  • Clinic facilities (Maintenance - Accommodation - Housekeeping -– Isolation area)
    Disposal of medical waste in a healthy and safe way
  • Providing raw materials, supplies and medical tools for the factory

 

Xerox:

Managing Xerox machine in all planet (Invoice – Paper – Locations)

Making a contract from thro create PR and receiving

 

Plant Facilities & Administration:

  • Accountable for the accommodation Plan for own employees & Third-party employees in the camps.
  • Manage the accommodation 4 buildings housekeeping and maintenance
  • Manage Admin buildings 17 buildings housekeeping and maintenance
  • Ensure maintain highest level of customer satisfaction by fulfilling any projects requested.
  • Identify, implement and follow up operation plan for all catering services
  • Ensures by managing the team for maintaining safe working place for all restaurant employees and conducting TBTs on frequent basis (Spillage, Fire, etc…)
  • Ensures the compliance with legal requirements requested by environmental ministry.
  • Accountable for maintaining admin building housekeeping and maintenance activities up to standard.
  • Managing and organize with production team on shutdown (maintenance) for catering, transportation, accommodation and site toilets maintenance

 

Seating plan:

 

Manage the Implementation & updates of the seating plan whenever needed according to job type (Shift/Daily), Band, Job title and functions.

 

Geocycle:

 

Support Geocycle team (Catering – Visits – Guarding) in platform site

 

Visitors:

 

Managing all visiting for Plant (Location – Setting - Transportation - Catering – Meeting rooms – Tours – Sound)

 

The Ministry of Environment:

 

  • Managing the requirements of the Ministry of Environment through
  • Managing waste disposal and document 
  • Managing the plant afforestation system and green belts

 

 

 

Communication Scope:

Support to the Communications Dept. in the Plant through providing the Communications with the support and back up to all functions.

  • Supporting employee’s communication plans in the plant through
  • Manage the developing of action plans to create a healthy working environment in the Plant based on intellectual dialogue, communication, exchange of ideas, and acceptance of development plans to raise the morale of employees.
  • Increase fans-base and engagement in internal Communications activities of our employees
  • Organize events that create a spirit of belonging and communication between employees and their families on the one hand, company and management on the other
  • Strengthen Lafarge bond & sense of Pride through group of internal activities at no cost and increase motivation (Lafarge employees and their family)
  • Empower Growth of Lafarge Egypt Identity, Brand & Loyalty among employees         
  • Signs/ Posters and Communication Tools:
  • Maintain communications campaigns for SOK Plant
  • Manage all signs & posts and Monitoring TVs in the Plant to be clear, effective and up-to-date
  • Manage the updates of signs & posters of the Company’s policy, vision and mission in SOK Plant
  • Manage the articles collection process, Newsletter monthly production process
  • Visits and Events
  • Manage all events in the plant (Group –- Celebration - Safety - Departments, ....) with a high performance including (Setting - Transportation - Catering – Meeting rooms – Tours – Audios)
  • Facilitate the visits from the Egyptian industrial authorities (courtesy visit - inspection visit)
  • Support in media. press photos and interviews taking place in the plant 

 

Education, Qualifications & Experience

 

Education:

Bachelor of Business or equivalent

 

Technical Skills & Experience:

10 +     years of experience in relevant field .
