HERACLES Group, Greece's leading company in the field of building materials and a member of Holcim, is seeking to cover the position of CAD Engineer for our Headquarters at Lykovrysi.

 

Duties & Responsibilities
As a member of the New Projects (CAPEX) team, the successful candidate will:

  •  Contribute to the planning, design, and execution of projects involving the upgrade of existing equipment and the development of new industrial facilities and installations.
  • Participate in the department’s primary engineering scope including the design and development of material handling systems using both mechanical and pneumatic conveying methods, dust collection systems, grinding machinery, structural steel works for equipment support and maintenance access, and material storage installations. 
  • Participate in the initial design phase 3D and 2D of a project during the preliminary design stage and subsequently update the models and drawings with the final equipment specifications in order to complete the detailed design.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support cost estimation, technical evaluations, and engineering studies related to new investments and infrastructure projects.
  • Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices within the New Works & CAPEX team.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in engineering projects, construction projects, industrial installations, or CAPEX investments.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering design principles and project execution processes.
  • Passion for engineering and construction, combined with patience, perseverance, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical.
  • Experience with Autodesk Navisworks and Autodesk ReCap will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
