ABOUT THE ROLE 
Are you passionate about the construction industry, but don't think estimating or engineering is the direction you want to go? We are looking for an engaging individual to join our Aggregate Sales team in the GVA. 


The Sales Development Representative, under the guidance of the Commercial Manager, undertakes various responsibilities. This includes supporting the Commercial Sales Team by collecting and organizing project information, examining basic construction documents, and compiling bid packages. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on capturing market data and enhancing effectiveness through Salesforce CRM. This role-plays a crucial part in driving the success of our sustainable eco-source products and offerings. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, an understanding of CRM (Salesforce), and a passion for promoting environmentally responsible solutions.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects through effective communication.
  • Takes responsibility for marketing, promoting, and selling our range of recycled Eco-source products in both external and internal construction markets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote our sustainable products, aligning with market demand and sustainable goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions that align with our eco-friendly product portfolio.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to gather, analyze, and interpret market data.
  • Take ownership of Salesforce CRM to streamline sales processes, enhance data accuracy, and maximize efficiency.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and CRM utilization, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Recently obtained University Degree or College Diploma.
Additional Education Preferred: N/A
Field of Study Preferred: Business Management, Civil Engineering, Geology, or related field.
Required Work Experience: 1-3 years of industry experience.
Required Training/Certifications: N/A
Required Technical Skills: Google Suite and Salesforce.
Travel Requirements: 0-10%


Additional Requirements: 

  • Interest in a long-term career in sales, business, and construction.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its applications in optimizing sales process is an advantage.
  • High level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to seeking information.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of rapidly establishing and sustaining positive working relationships.
  • Proven capacity to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in sales an advantage. 
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
