ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Lean Practitioner will be responsible for solving moderately complex problems that require deep knowledge about their function, Lean principles, Lean methodologies and the organization. The Senior Lean Practitioner will also bring expertise in

Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) to help drive equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and align maintenance practices with Lean operational goals. They will work independently with little supervision, providing Lean leadership throughout

the organization and mentorship to more junior employees while delivering continuously improving business results. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Apply Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles to identify, prioritize, and improve maintenance strategies that support equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solution opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Teach, support and facilitate kaizen thinking and kaikaku events.
  • Develop and execute lean strategies to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
  • Assist with data analysis for the development of strategic deployment action plans.
  • Conduct training sessions on lean principles and methodologies to all levels of the organization.
  • Perpetuate and advance comprehension and utilization of the Building Envelope Operating System measured through sustainability.                                              
  • Support the development and execution of lean initiatives to drive business efficiencies and results.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify process improvement opportunities and root cause solutions.
  • Lead teams and individuals through kaikaku improvement projects throughout the organization.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and standard work promoting lean methodologies, thinking and application.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience.
  • Strong understanding of Lean principles and TPS practices (including PDCA  Continuous Improvement, 8 wastes, KanBan, Kaikaku, and Kaizen methodologies).
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, facilitate and lead kaikaku projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong individual contributor, effective influential leader with tangible results.
  • Microsoft Office Suite ~ Google Suite / Workspace Applications.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Travel as required; up to 65%.
