Job Summary
The Pricing Manager Products and Systems is responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies across the product and system portfolio. This role focuses on aligning pricing with the
value of both individual products and complete system offerings, establishing and maintaining a clear price architecture, and driving product-level price differentiation. The role also leads product lifecycle pricing, including the development of pricing strategies for new product launches. In addition, it monitors competitive pricing dynamics to help inform market-aligned pricing decisions. Working closely with product management, marketing, finance, and sales, this position plays a key role in driving profitable growth and optimizing the portfolio.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Develop and manage product and system-level pricing strategies across the portfolio to align with customer-perceived value and commercial strategy.
Drive strategy and execution of market list prices, customer sales price sheets, and corresponding price updates in the SAP system.
Support the creation and governance of product master data to enable strategic decision-making, pricing accuracy, and operational efficiency across commercial functions.
Create and maintain clear price architecture, including list price structures, system bundle pricing, and discount guidance by channel and customer segment.
Establish and evolve price differentiation at the SKU level, particularly for products integrated into larger system offerings versus standalone applications.
Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing to define value-based pricing frameworks and translate product features and innovations into pricing that reflects value to the customer.
Lead pricing strategy for new product launches, including market positioning, price setting, margin modeling, and alignment with go-to-market strategies.

 

Job Description:
Monitor market pricing dynamics and trends through publicly available sources, customer insights, and win/loss analysis to inform pricing decisions and maintain competitive positioning.
Analyze and manage pricing performance for products and system sales using dashboards and KPIs; identify opportunities to improve profitability, alignment, and effectiveness. 

Help identify pricing opportunities by turning market trends and business feedback into clear, practical actions.
Train the sales team on pricing value and positioning.
Support operational execution of pricing updates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across internal systems and tools.
Ensure compliance with internal pricing controls, documentation standards, and governance processes.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree.
10+ years of experience in pricing or product management in B2B manufacturing industries, building products preferred.
Demonstrated functional leadership.
Expert in product pricing, portfolio pricing, SKU price differentiation, and system pricing.
Strong understanding of price architecture principles, pricing structures, and product segmentation strategies.
Experience collaborating with sales, marketing, finance, and legal teams to ensure effective pricing delivery and compliance.
Proven experience with pricing software, ERP, and CRM systems.
Strong problem-solving skills to translate data into actionable pricing recommendations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to ensure cross-functional alignment.
Understanding of pricing compliance requirements, including SOX, Robinson-Patman, and antitrust laws.
