Job Description
The production winder operates and troubleshoots equipment, prepares materials for production,
and selects the appropriate materials based on the production schedule.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to

       manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules,
       volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards

  • Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
  • Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
  • Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance

       analysis

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma; or 1-2 years vocational training/associate degree

 

 

Working Conditions
Indoor dusty, non-temperature controlled industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Subject to varying cold and hot temperatures and occasional outdoor activities in hot or adverse
weather.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds including use of lifting assistance devices
  • Ability to stand for extended period of time
  • Ability to kneel, bend, reach and stoop, twist, squat, and kneel as required
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment as required
  • This position has the potential to manage and handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
