We are seeking an IT SOX Compliance Specialist responsible for assessing, monitoring, and supporting SOX Internal Controls, along with mandated policies and procedures, through a clear and time-defined plan.

 

What you will do:

  • Conducting risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and areas that require improvement in IT.

  • Evaluating and documenting internal controls, including financial reporting processes and IT systems.

  • Testing and assessing the effectiveness of internal controls to ensure they meet SOX requirements.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and legal, to implement necessary controls and process improvements.

  • Monitoring changes in SOX regulations and making recommendations for updates to compliance procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.

  • PCI Knowledge required

  • Personal Data Protection Laws in US and Canada

  • Good knowledge of active directory, networking and application security.

  • Fluent English (B2+)
