Job Description:

Participate in planning activities in accordance with the company’s HSE strategy and oversee its implementation;

Develop, implement, and maintain an effective HSE management system, ensuring compliance with local HSE legislation and Holcim corporate requirements.

Instill a culture of safety among subordinates and ensure compliance with all safety rules. Apply a results-driven management policy: rewards and administrative measures.

Analyze the causes of workplace accidents and injuries, prepare measures to prevent them, and organize their implementation.

Participate in internal and corporate HSE audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards and take corrective actions.

Provide new employees, as well as periodically existing employees, with orientation training, refreshers, and unscheduled or ongoing safety and technical instructions related to labor protection.

Monitor employees’ compliance with labor protection, safety standards, and sanitary-hygiene norms and regulations.

Ensure that PPE and other protective equipment’s provided to employees meet standards and field regulations, oversee their assignment, ordering, delivery to the warehouse, and proper use.

Work with digital HSE platforms provided by the group and oversee their implementation.

Monitor compliance with the company's HSE standards and the requirements of legislation related to safety, fire safety, security, sanitation, hygiene, and civil defense.

Organize emergency drills and participate in the emergency management process.

Identify high-risk facilities, oversee their safe operation, and participate in the preparation and implementation of periodic HSE action plans.

Prepare an annual internal audit plan for the HSE department and conduct internal audits as per the plan, develop corrective and preventive actions for identified non-conformities, and carry out appropriate root cause analyses.

Participate in organizing and conducting training and development programs to ensure management, staff, and subcontractors are aware of the company’s HSE policies and rules.

Verify the compliance of relevant documentation required for the contractors' activities, oversee the performance of contractor organizations, and take measures in line with the Consequence Management Policy requirements.
Requirements:

Higher education in the technical field;
-
Minimum 5 years of work experience in the construction/production sector;

IOSH/NEBOSH and other certifications in this field;
-
Certificate in Industrial Technical Safety and Occupational Health and Safety regulations and standards from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Republic.

Computer skills in MS Office

Languages: Fluent in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian is a plus.
