We are seeking a Process Engineering Intern for Summer 2025 who is passionate about sustainability, driven by curiosity and keen to grow, learn, develop and thrive in our high-performance culture. This opportunity will be a 10-week, paid internship beginning June 2nd, 2025

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Perform trials, studies, and capability analyses as needed to effectively understand and improve our process capabilities. Demonstrate use of statistical methodologies to understand, analyze, and drive reduction in process variation in facilities.
- Investigate and develop solutions for issues raised by site staff and the production team.
- Support development and implement action plans for continuous improvement and cost savings. Optimize production processes by driving safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Identify projects which benefit the facility in areas such as: Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, Sustainability
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to transition new products and new projects through the development process and into production.
- Conclude your internship with a presentation to executive leadership, showcasing your learnings and contributions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, or similar majors.
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
- Team oriented and able to work with all levels of the organization.
- Willing to spend time out in the field getting to know the business firsthand.
SCHEDULE AND ENVIRONMENT:
- This is an onsite role; the intern will be expected to be onsite Monday - Friday and work an 8-hour shift (40 hours per week is mandatory).
- IThe position is office based; however a significant portion of the time will need to be spent around internal manufacturing equipment. This includes an environment that will vary in temperature and debris. PPE will be provided.
- You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from your worksite for the summer.
- Throughout the duration of your internship, you may be required to travel for site tours, shadow experiences, or intern events.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
