Job Purpose
Follows defined processes to ensure quality of finished goods and accuracy of defined testing methods.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform initial and final quality control testing of manufactured product
- Provide feedback of initial testing for production line adjustments
- Record testing results using appropriate quality control forms and data bases
- Place non-conforming material on qualify control hold for further review
- Release finished goods in SAP
- Maintain quality control database and plant's equipment calibration control program
- Maintain 5S of assigned area
- To operate forklifts in a safe manner observing all company policies.
- Safely operate required equipment including measuring/testing equipment, calibers, saws, scales, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Three-Five years of factory-related manufacturing experience
- Basic Math and computer skills - Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Time management skills and initiative
Working Conditions
The working conditions include an indoor, dusty non-temperature controlled, industrial manufacturing
and warehouse environment. Subject to varying cold and hot temperatures and occasional outdoor
activities in hot or adverse weather.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs including use of lifting assistance devices
- Ability to stand for extended period of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel as required
- Ability to operate mobile equipment as required
- This position has the potential to manage and handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste
