Job Purpose

Follows defined processes to ensure quality of finished goods and accuracy of defined testing methods.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform initial and final quality control testing of manufactured product
Provide feedback of initial testing for production line adjustments
Record testing results using appropriate quality control forms and data bases
Place non-conforming material on qualify control hold for further review
Release finished goods in SAP
Maintain quality control database and plant's equipment calibration control program
Maintain 5S of assigned area
To operate forklifts in a safe manner observing all company policies.
Safely operate required equipment including measuring/testing equipment, calibers, saws, scales, etc.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
Three-Five years of factory-related manufacturing experience
Basic Math and computer skills - Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and communication skills
Time management skills and initiative

Working Conditions

The working conditions include an indoor, dusty non-temperature controlled, industrial manufacturing
and warehouse environment. Subject to varying cold and hot temperatures and occasional outdoor
activities in hot or adverse weather.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs including use of lifting assistance devices
Ability to stand for extended period of time
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel as required
Ability to operate mobile equipment as required
This position has the potential to manage and handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste
