We are currently looking for a highly skilled Extruder to work out of our Norcross, GA facility.

Holcim is a leading international manufacturer and supplier of a comprehensive product portfolio for commercial building performance solutions. 

 

The Extruder Operator is responsible for ensuring that product is available to wind by cutting and feeding material into the extruder machine.

 

Responsibilities:

• Uses shovel to cut product that has been dumped onto a tray on the floor into pieces.

• Feeds the pieces into extruder. Keeps extruder fed so that there is no break in product for Winder Packers.

• Uses quality training to ensure that product is fed consistently to limit non-conformities of tape once it has been wound.

• Wears appropriate protective equipment required for the department.

• Keeps area neat and clean.

• Follows all safety procedures and utilizes proper lifting techniques.

 

Requiriments:

• Be able to communicate clearly with all employees in the department

• Must be able to lift between 10-50 pounds approximately 60% of the time

• Must be able to bend/stoop approximately 25% of the time

• Be able to stand approximately 100% of the day
