HBE Hungary is a leading provider of high-quality roofing and waterproofing solutions, specializing in manufacturing and delivering single ply (EPDM/TPO/PVC) and thermal insulation systems that meet the highest standards of durability, performance and sustainability. As we are looking to expand our position in Hungary, we are looking for an experienced in roofing industry sales rep to cover the region of Hungary.

 

Position Overview:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales and business development of Elevate roofing and waterproofing systems in the assigned geographical region. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a deep understanding of the single ply roofing and lining market, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to meet sales targets. The Sales Representative will serve as the key point of contact for customers, architects, engineers and investors and work closely with the marketing, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients (e.g., roofing contractors, builders, architects, and construction companies) within the assigned region.
    • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales, expand market presence, and maximize revenue opportunities.
    • Present, promote, and sell Elevate roofing and waterproofing systems (EPDM/TPO/PVC/PIR) based on client needs and requirements.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, providing product recommendations, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting:
    • Conduct regular market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and potential growth opportunities in the region.
    • Provide detailed and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
    • Negotiation & Closing:
      • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to ensure profitable sales while meeting customer needs.
      • Ensure timely follow-ups and closing of sales deals, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.
    • Collaboration:
      • Work closely with the internal team (logistics, customer service, and marketing) to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
      • Attend product training sessions to stay updated on new offerings and construction industry trends.
    • Networking:
      • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking meetings to foster relationships and promote company offerings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience in roofing sales).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the roofing industry
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
  • Knowledge:
    • In-depth knowledge of the roofing materials industry, including products, pricing, and market trends.
    • Familiarity with local construction regulations and business practices within the assigned geographical region.
