Job purpose

Responsible for shipping, receiving, stocking, and order filling.   

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Domestic Duties (Daily)
    • Ship Metric Report Out Every Morning
    • File all paperwork from previous day
    • Check all Inbound Receipts
    • Build/schedule/print orders and print shipping labels for all Domestic FTL/LTL shipments
    • Update Loading Schedule
    • Review Back orders
    • Prepare UPS packages to ship
    • Scheduling Appointments Times (inbound and outbound deliveries)
    • Email correspondence with Logistics, CCR Groups aligning Sales Order Shipments
    • Backfill for Transportation operations lead on domestic customer side
    • Ensure orders are picked according to FIFO process.

 

  • Keying Cycle Counts in SAP
  • Enters Purchase Requisitions in SAP
  • Tracking Safety Training for Office Staff
  • Post Shift Huddle Agenda Topics
  • Works with the DC Manager and collaborates with other teammates
  • Directly impacts the success of the Distribution Center’s KPI’s
  • Solves problems while able to anticipate additional needs/requests
  • Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation
  • Grows knowledge and skills through training and work experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent.

At least 3-5 years related experience recommended
