ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will help develop and lead execution of pricing strategies for Holcim Building Envelop (HBE), a $2.0B company. You will be a critical strategic partner for the Pricing Director, and the Marketing, Sales and Finance Leadership Teams. You will also be a critical part of a team that is building a robust pricing practice, leading to outsized growth in both top-line and bottom-line revenue.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Leads HBE Pricing by providing financial modeling, analysis and interpretation helping to support strategic product/segment/brand price positioning, identify margin enhancement opportunities, and provide margin impact analysis for proposed pricing strategies.
- Become an HBE Pricing subject matter expert by working closely with various areas of the organization, including Sales, Finance, Procurement and Marketing to understand our products, our Sales Rep organization, our customers, and our sales channels
- Analyzes and evaluates requests for regional price deviations, providing recommendations to Pricing Director and Commercial Leadership Team. This will require a candidate to build good working relationships with Regional Business Managers and our Sales Rep organization
- Works with other Sr. Pricing Analysts to help develop a competitive intelligence database and tools that will guide a market-based approach to price adjustments.
- Identifies, track and update Key Performance Indicators relevant to the pricing impact on growth and profitability to drive performance measurement and accountability
- Works with Cost Accounting to become an expert in raw material cost and availability changes for assigned products and make pricing recommendations accordingly.
- Drives continuous improvement and innovation in Pricing by recommending/implementing changes to current processes to enable agile/flexible responses to dynamic market conditions
- Builds strong cross-functional relationships that facilitate agile pricing decisions
- Collaborates extensively with other Sr. Pricing Analysts to build functional expertise in the price change process
- Partners with Pricing Director and Central Analytics Team to build metrics and create dashboards in Tableau to guide/inform senior level key decision makers
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance/Marketing/Economics, MBA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive professional work experience
- 2+ years of commercial pricing experience
- Strong business acumen, with understanding of how pricing decisions affect volume, growth and profitability
- Business manager mindset with drive for continuous improvement with very strong analytical and modeling skills
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- Working knowledge of SAP system,
- 10-15% in market travel to acquire market information directly from customers
- Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, Salesforce.com and Pricing Software such as Pros and Vendavo
- 5+ years in pricing experience preferred
