team. We are seeking a Process Engineer Intern for Summer 2025 who are passionate about
sustainability, driven by curiosity and keen to grow, learn, develop and thrive in our high-
performance culture. This opportunity will be a 10-week, paid internship beginning June 2, 2025.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Assist Engineering and R&D to launch new products on new equipment, using our NPD
(New Product Development) process.
- Evaluate raw materials to ensure no process upsets while running material in our
equipment.
- Collaborate with Operations, R&D and other relevant departments to ensure that project
critical objectives are completed in a timely manner.
- Evaluate extrusion equipment to make data-driven decisions to improve operation.
- Lead a process improvement project, from idea creation to implementation, using the
PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) framework.
- Audit documentation to ensure the process is operating as recommended. Make
recommendations, if needed.
- Conclude your internship with a presentation to executive leadership, showcasing your
learnings and contributions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in
Engineering (all disciplines are encouraged to apply, preferably Chemical & Industrial)
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
- Able to analyze data in order to make relevant project decisions.
- Team oriented and able to work with all levels of the organization.
- Willing to spend time out in the field getting to know the business firsthand.
SCHEDULE AND ENVIRONMENT
- This is an onsite role; the intern will be expected to be onsite Monday - Friday and work
an 8-hour shift (40 hours per week is mandatory).
- Ideal schedule would be 7:30 am to 3:30 pm local time, with an occasional change
based on work being performed. Any schedule change will be discussed and agreed
upon prior to the change being needed.
- In this intern position, you will be expected to work both in an office environment as well
as on the plant floor, interacting with teammates in the engineering, R&D, operations,
maintenance and quality departments.
- You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from your worksite for the
summer.
- Throughout the duration of your internship, you may be required to travel for site tours,
shadow experiences, or intern events.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lb
- Be on your feet for up to 8 hrs a day.
