ABOUT THE ROLE

 

2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm

Pay: $26.00 + $1.00 shift differential 
 
Responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of the Warehouse and Shipping/Receiving department.  Daily lead the team to manage stock levels and movements safely and effectively; processing orders and shipments; ensuring warehouse security; performing stock transfers; and maintaining inventory records.
 
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
 
●       Check in truck drivers and assign appropriate loading door.
●       Check loaded pick ticket for accuracy.
●       Post off pick ticket in AX to create BOL
●       Coordinate the return of inventory to stock daily.
●       Maintain finished goods inventory balance and put away.
●       Conduct end of day PSR balancing.
●       Staging of material for production.
●       Process incoming receiving. (UPS, Fed Ex, LTL, Truckload.).
●       Understand and enforce the rulings and procedures of the DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other government agencies which apply to the receiving, warehousing and shipping of materials.
●       Instructing teammates in receiving, handling, sorting and shipping hazardous materials to comply with the regulations of the DOT, OSHA, and EPA. To periodically review these regulations and procedures with each teammate and maintain the standard as established by the CFR.
●       Instruct teammates in their duties, methods, and procedures in maintaining an efficient flow of activities and an understanding of their tasks.
●       Keeps warehouse supervisor and manager apprised of teammates ability's
●       Monitor practices to assure safe working conditions and good housekeeping procedures daily.
●       Overseas Teammates 5S, safe working conditions & monthly safety checklist
●       Maintain forklift driver's qualification and operate forklift daily.
●       Backup for the Warehouse Supervisor.
 
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
 
•    High school degree
•    1-2 years warehouse experience preferably supervision of others / associates degree
•    Forklift experience 2 plus years
 
Working conditions

 
The working conditions include an indoor, dusty non-temperature controlled, industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment. Warehouse is heated but not climate controlled.
 
Physical requirements
 
·    Must be able to lift up to 50lbs including use of lifting assistance devices
·        Ability to stand for extended period of time
·         Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel as required
·        Ability to operate mobile equipment as required
·        This position has the potential to manage and handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste
