Job Description:

The Manufacturing Quality Lab Technician maintains and follows quality assurance processes, testing of products, and recording/analyzing of results during production.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Follow all Standard Work Instructions and Company Policies. Adhere/Follow all safety rules. Alert supervision to product quality or machine operation concerns and recommend/implement adjustments or corrections to ensure product conformity. Maintain the 5S standard of the assigned area. Perform analysis of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods in a timely manner to verify conformity with defined product standards. Record testing results using appropriate quality control forms and databases. Place non-conforming material on quality control hold for further review; Release finished goods in company systems;  Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Calendar. Ability to read and follow English work instructions. Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

High School diploma, GED, or Equivalent Work Experience.  Mfg experience preferred

 

Working Conditions:

The working conditions include an indoor, environmentally controlled Quality Lab with frequent exposure to non-temperature controlled, chemical manufacturing and warehouse environment. Occasionally subject to varying cold and hot temperatures and occasional outdoor activities in hot/cold weather.

Appropriate PPE for all conditions is supplied.

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs including use of lifting assistance devices. Ability to stand for extended period of time. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel as required  This position has the potential to manage and handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste

Compensation:

$25.25 per hour
