Role Overview

 

We are seeking a strategic leader who balances a strong passion for people management with deep technical and process expertise within the building construction industry. In this role, you will oversee field services, training programs, and technical tool development while serving as a key bridge between sales support, engineering excellence, and senior leadership.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading & Developing Teams: manage a multidisciplinary regional technical team, including Regional Technical Managers and the Training & Digital Support Manager, to support their professional growth and strategic objectives
  • Driving Sales Support & Strategy: analyze European market trends and competitive products, assist with codes and approvals, and collaborate with Technical Managers to develop tools that enhance sales and market competitiveness
  • Overseeing Technical Tools & Literature: define, coordinate, and develop essential working tools (like BOQs calculations and planning designs) and technical content, including installation guidelines, specification documents, and marketing materials
  • Managing Training Centers: oversee the development and implementation of technical training programs for contractors and reprersentatives, driving alignment and program harmonization
  • Ensuring Field Service Excellence: maintain departmental health and safety protocols while supervising the communication of crucial installation and design requirements to architects, specifiers, contractors, and sales representatives
  • Budgeting & Reporting: monitor departmental expenses (including T&E, training facilities, and warranty claims) and deliver comprehensive monthly status reports directly to the Technical Director

 

Your qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • Ideally 5 to 10 years of proven experience within the building construction industry, backed by solid product knowledge and a deep understanding of market trends and competitors
  • Fully proficient in written and verbal English, French, and Dutch; knowledge of German is considered a strong asset
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office and the Google ecosystem, AutoCAD and Revit knowledge would be advantage 
  • Experienced with calculation tools (BOQ) 
  • A natural coach who supports team development, fosters constructive, cross-functional collaboration and has proactive mindset
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate convincingly, build strong internal and external client relationships, and make well-founded, thoughtful decisions with strict attention to detail
