Who is Holcim European Business Services?

Holcim European Business Services (EBS) is the internal Shared Service Center of Holcim for the European region, based in Kosice, Slovakia.

With a team of over 330 employees representing more than 20 nationalities, EBS provides a comprehensive range of financial & administrative services to the 23 countries of Holcim across Europe. These services encompass Reporting, Controlling, Accounting & Consolidation, Invoicing, Treasury, Procurement, HR administration, Recruitment, Payroll, Data Analytics, Sustainability and several others.

Role overview

Would you like to work in the Treasury, communicate with the Group team and are you ready for a new challenge?

Get a sense of what awaits you in the role:

• Controlling activity which consists in matching the internal valuation of our outstanding derivatives with the valuation statements sent by our counterparties (the banks we traded the derivatives with) 
• Controlling activity that enables us monitor the cash exposure with our counterparties at Group level based on the quarter end reporting. Overall compliance with Treasury Directive in terms of bank relationship and counterparty risk is covered by this activity
• Other controlling activities related to Treasury
• Generate accounting entries for the countries involved and prepare report at Group level
• Check deal entered by the Front Office with the confirmation statement received from the bank
• To ensure a good quality of the financial internal and external reporting, the information submitted by the countries is reviewed and checked. Discrepancies and inconsistencies are highlighted and the countries are requested to review or justify such entries
• Various reporting, testing and ICS support activities
• Cooperate closely with accounting, tax and legal linked to treasury topics

Who we are looking for:

• English language B2 is a must, German or French language is an advantage
• Experience in corporate treasury or accounting is needed
• Knowledge of SAP (TRM and BCM)
• Good MS Office Skills
• Participation in IT projects such as implementation or upgrade of treasury systems would be an advantage
• Integrity and accuracy
• Keeping deadlines and strictly respect directives are essential
• Good communication skills for cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
• Team player with willingness to participate to projects, including IT oriented
