With a team of over 330 employees representing more than 20 nationalities, EBS provides a comprehensive range of financial & administrative services to the 23 countries of Holcim across Europe. These services encompass Reporting, Controlling, Accounting & Consolidation, Invoicing, Treasury, Procurement, HR administration, Recruitment, Payroll, Data Analytics, Sustainability and several others.

Role overview


As the Payroll &People Services Expert for our Corporate Switzerland organization, you will be a key contributor to our People team. You'll be responsible for the seamless and compliant execution of all People Services and payroll-related processes. This role is crucial for ensuring our employees receive accurate and timely payroll while also supporting their administrative needs. You will manage the entire employee lifecycle, from contract creation to termination, and serve as the main point of contact for employees and managers on all People administration topics.

 

Your responsibilites will include:


● Manage the full employee lifecycle, including creating, amending, and terminating employment contracts.
● Execute and oversee monthly payroll processes, including all pre- and post-payroll tasks.
● Prepare and distribute annual payroll documents and verify statutory social security declarations during year-end processes.
● Ensure data integrity by implementing and coordinating system and compliance controls.
● Serve as the primary contact for employees and managers regarding all personnel administration matters.
● Collaborate with internal People teams and external stakeholders, such as tax authorities, pension funds, and insurance providers.

 

Your qualifications, experience and skills:


● Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in payroll, with solid knowledge of Swiss labor law and social security regulations.
● Completed commercial apprenticeship (or equivalent) with further education in HR or Payroll (e.g.,certified HR Specialist or Payroll Expert).
● Proficiency in SAP and SuccessFactors, as well as Google and Office products.
● You must be responsible, reliable, and highly detail-oriented with a strong service orientation and excellent communication skills.
● Proficient in both German and English, written and spoken.
