Holcim European Business Services is located in the heart of Košice, where we provide support to partnering Group companies in Europe from financial transactions, such as accounting, invoicing, and master data maintenance, to HR administration, recruitment support, payroll and data analytics.

 

Role overview

 

The role of Senior Reporting and Consolidation Specialist is a part of the Reporting team, R2R Tower.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Supporting the delivery of Reporting and Consolidation processes/services consistent with accounting standards and other internal/external audit requirements. Maintaining all necessary records related to audits, including reporting of exceptions in requested quality

  • Supporting the delivery of monthly, quarterly and yearly reports and accurately recording the financial transactions in line with relevant requirements, policies and procedures

  • Helping to reconcile the costing and inventory systems and journals, and ensuring that updates are made accurately and on time

  • Assuring fulfillment of SLA requirements for internal controls to the following extent: understanding the control and related risk, implementing and executing relevant internal controls within agreed deadlines, providing signs-off on the control documentation, assuring proper preparation of the evidence documentation. 

  • Proactively supporting project management initiatives, driving system improvements, contributing to operational improvement initiatives within the R2R team

 

Your qualifications, experience and skills 

 

  • University education in the area of Business, Finance, Accounting, Administration

  • English - Upper intermediate (B2) is a must 

  • Knowledge of financial controlling or reporting (Management accounting, Month end close, Reporting and consolidation) 

  • Knowledge of the accounting standards (IFRS)

  • Skills in MS Office, especially advanced user of Excel

  • SAP FICO and Business Warehouse modules experience 

  • ACCA certification would be an asset 

  • Ability to focus on details and to deal sensitively with confidential material

  • Team working skills

  • Practical thinking & problem solving skills
