We are seeking a Senior Tax Expert with a strong background in taxation, finance, and compliance to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience in managing complex tax processes, compliance tasks, and audits across diverse industries. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in GST, VAT, Income Tax Reporting, Withholding Tax, and Transfer Pricing to drive organizational success.

Tax Compliance & Reporting:

 

  • Manage GST, VAT, and Withholding Tax (WHT) compliance for multiple jurisdictions.
  • Oversee annual income tax reporting, including preparation of Profit & Loss statements.
  • Prepare and maintain cross-border transaction reports and transfer pricing documentation.

 

Policy Development & Process Optimization:

 

  • Revise and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with legislative updates.
  • Implement process-driven improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax accounting.

 

Tax Advisory & Incentives:

 

  • Advise on tax rulings, incentives, and relief mechanisms from relevant governments entities.
  • Provide strategic insights on managing tax risks for global operations.

 

Audits & Reconciliations:

 

  • Lead internal and external tax audits and manage documentation for audit requirements.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of tax credits and deductions for compliance.

 

Regulatory Compliance:

 

  • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns, including income tax forms.
  • Handle data reconciliation for tax reporting, appeals, and compliance with DTAA guidelines.

 

Who we are looking for:


Educational Background: 

Specialization in Taxation and Finance.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance

 
Work Experience:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, including:
  • Tax compliance and reporting in multinational entities.
  • Transfer pricing and cross-border transaction management.
  • Audit functions (tax, statutory, and internal audits).

Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in GST, VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and Transfer Pricing.


Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-driven mindset.
  • Ability to develop and revise SOPs for compliance and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.


Other Requirements:
Knowledge of tools and software used for tax reporting and compliance.
