About the Role

At Holcim Romania, we are looking for a Senior Production Engineer for our plant in Câmpulung Muscel — a dedicated professional driven to optimize operational performance, support sustainability initiatives, and help build the "factory of the future."

In this key technical and strategic role, you will play a vital part in streamlining the production process, maintaining the optimal balance between operational performance, workplace safety, and sustainable resource consumption.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote Safety: Continuously drive health and safety excellence on site, fostering a strong safety mindset in line with Group standards and local regulations.

• Optimize Performance: Routinely analyze equipment operation, specific energy consumption (thermal and electrical), and refractory materials to propose and implement performance improvement solutions.

• Drive the Green Transition: Promote the use of alternative fuels and raw materials, implementing operational measures to minimize their impact on the process.

• Coordinate Major Overhauls: Manage Production Department activities across the entire kiln line, including budgeting, technical specifications, and refractory material installation.

• Standardize & Train: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide ongoing training and technical guidance to operational teams for consistent execution.

• Provide Technical Support: Support the implementation and integration of new equipment and operational procedures.

• Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to internal controls and report any deviations from standards, company policies, or legal requirements.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Strong background in process engineering or industrial production, preferably within the cement or building materials sector.

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of thermal and energy balances in industrial production lines.

• Project & Overhaul Management: Proven capacity to coordinate complex technical projects and major repairs/turnarounds.

• Problem-Solving Mindset: A rigorous, efficiency-focused approach to solving complex engineering challenges.

• Communication & Leadership: Clear communication skills with a proven ability to mentor and train site teams.
