ABOUT THE ROLE
Wash Plant Operator is a first shift position that reports directly to the Plant Manager. All duties performed in a work-safe manner: prior safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Primary responsibilities include assisting in maintenance and operations functions.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Prioritize SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION
  • Ensure a safe work environment for self and others at all times.
  • Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety policies to assure that environmental, health and safety are the first priority.
  • Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist as needed to improve EHS
  • Communicates effectively and timely with staff
  • Ensure all work areas are clean, tidy and organized at all times
  • Trains and coaches other employees when needed
  • Performs other duties as time permits or as assigned


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls procedures| unwarranted deviations from established standards
  • Ability to operate equipment effectively
  • Must understand equipment functions and processes of the primary area 

Addional Requirement

  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved
  • Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
  • Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal
  • meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
