ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Early Talent Program Manager plays a pivotal role in building a sustainable pipeline of future talent through early career hiring and development programs. This role leads the design, execution, and continuous improvement of campus recruitment strategies and early career programs to attract, develop, and retain top emerging talent across the organization.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Program Development and Implementation

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive early talent strategy aligned with business goals and workforce planning needs for today and ensure future ready.
  • Design and implement training and mentorship programs tailored for early-career talent and provide support to managers to increase effectiveness of programs and conversion.
  • Manage program budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR to identify talent needs and develop recruitment strategies. This includes job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, and hiring coordination, ensuring a best-in-class candidate and employee experience.
  • Build and maintain internal and external partnerships, including universities, colleges, student organizations and other talent sources.
  • Oversee campus recruitment events, career fairs, and other outreach activities. This includes driving brand awareness.

Collaboration and Communications

  • Collaborate with HR, communications team, business leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of early talent program with overall business goals.
  • Communicate program updates, results, and best practices to relevant stakeholders.

Data and Analytics

  • Track and analyze program metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Use data to inform program design and implementation.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Associate’s degree or 5 years of equivalent professional experience

Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
Field of Study Preferred: Human Resources, Business
Required Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, or Human Resource roles with experience managing early career programs.

Required Technical Skills: Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (SuccessFactors a plus), Campus Recruiting Platforms (i.e. Handshake)
Travel Requirements: 15-20%

  • Actively stay updated on new trends and technologies by partnering with external providers, associations, research centers and companies
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset with a track record for creative problem solving, developing innovative solutions and approaches and gain buy in and support for selected course of action
  • Ability to use and interpret data to provide critical insights for improvement and on development needs
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
