ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a high-impact, detail-oriented FP&A Manager to serve as the finance business partner to eight corporate functions, including HR, Legal, Finance, Innovation, Marketing & Communications, Strategy, M&A, and Executive Leadership. In this role, you will own the budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for ~$300M in G&A spend, working directly with C-suite executives and functional leaders to help drive strategic decisions and cost discipline.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Lead end-to-end budgeting and forecasting for eight corporate functions
  • Partner directly with C-suite executives and functional heads to develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting, variance analysis, and actionable insights
  • Track and report on functional cost drivers, headcount trends, and savings initiatives
  • Provide finance support for corporate initiatives, including restructuring, transformation, or M&A-related activity
  • Coordinate with Accounting, Consolidations, and other FP&A team members to ensure alignment of financials and forecasts
  • Own the preparation of executive-ready materials (slides, dashboards, bridges) for monthly business reviews and quarterly executive reporting
  • Implement continuous improvements in planning models, tools, and reporting processes
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree
Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree

Field of Study Preferred: Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Required Work Experience:

  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles (ideally in a public company or large corporate environment)
  • Big 4 experience preferred

Required Training/Certifications: CPA is a plus

Required Technical Skills:

  • Experience supporting corporate functions or G&A cost centers
  • Strong financial modeling, Excel, and presentation skills (PowerPoint, dashboards)
  • Ability to manage relationships with executive stakeholders and communicate clearly at all levels
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and ERP/reporting systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar)

Travel Requirements: 20% in US and Canada

 

Additional Requirements: 

  • Leadership skills both in leading initiatives as well as in the team development
  • Ability to work in a cooperative manner with a range of individuals, and the ability to lead and develop a small team of analysts
  • Excellent financial/analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of computer tools, financial analysis, economics, accounting, financial theory and the cement business
  • Must be able to successfully manage the data processing tasks that are a part of the various planning cycles, and also must be able to work with the big picture, including macro-economic trends in the US and internationally
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, including US GAAP and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Solid understanding of accounting reports and concepts essential
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
